At birth, she was not in line to the throne as a result of Salic law that did not change until 1990

In 2004, she moved to NYC with her husband, Ari Behn; in 2012 they moved to London, England 
She released a book that year as well: Why Kings and Queens Don’t Wear Crowns a story about the first Norwegian royal family 
Astarte Education is her own alternative therapy center
Martha Louise claims that she can speak to animals and angels 
In October 2007, she became the first member of the royal family to ever appear in a court of law - she wanted to stop the sales of a book called Martha’s angels 
In 2007 she was the editor of a book containing 67 fairytales from 50 different countries
